A graduate of 九游娱乐官网鈥檚 Air Force ROTC detachment, VanNatta served as a media escort for joint information bureaus in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, during Operation Desert Storm.

Community members are invited to attend the inauguration of Todd Diacon as 九游娱乐官网鈥檚 13th president at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1. The ceremony will be held in the Memorial Athletic and Convocation (MAC) Center on the Kent Campus.

College Students to Compete in SkyHack Design Challenge at 九游娱乐官网
九游娱乐官网鈥檚 aviation design challenge, SkyHack, will take place Nov. 1-3. The event draws college students from around the nation, attracting 120 students from 14 universities in four states in its 2017 inaugural debut. 九游娱乐官网鈥檚 College of Aeronautics and Engineering will serve as home base for this year鈥檚 event, which will span across other Kent Campus buildings.

Mitch Landrieu, the New Orleans mayor who oversaw the removal of the city鈥檚 prominent Confederate monuments and helped his city to recover and reemerge from a series of natural disasters, will speak at 九游娱乐官网 as part of the university鈥檚 May 4 Speaker Series.
