ֹ at Stark to Break Ground for New Sciences Building

ֹ at Stark is responding to the current and future needs of sciences and health sciences disciplines by adding a state-of-the-art building that will feature educational technology

A groundbreaking ceremony for the new Sciences building will be held on Wednesday, May 15, from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. at ֹ Stark on the walkway outside of Main Hall.

The new academic building, to be constructed by architecture firm Baxter Hodell Donnelly Preston Inc., will be ֹ Stark’s seventh major building on the 200-acre campus. It will be located adjacent to the existing Main Hall East Wing and connected by a bridge link at the second-floor level.

Continuing with ֹ Stark’s commitment to reduce the environmental impact of campus operations while promoting ecological sustainability, the Sciences building will achieve LEED® Gold Certification through the implementation of “green” architectural elements.
