Sonography uses high-frequency sound images to capture moving images that are used to observe internal structures for medical diagnosis. Students in the radiology program at ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø at Salem have hands-on learning experiences using real equipment to observe real-time images.
Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) is one of the concentrations students at ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø's Salem Campus can choose in the programs for the Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology (RADT) degree and the Bachelor of Radiologic and Imaging Sciences (BRIT) degree.
