Since 2009, Golden Flashes have come together to volunteer for our blue and gold communities around the world. What was once a day of service is now a weeklong initiative, offering even more ways to give back.

Jerry Lewis was professor of sociology at ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø from 1966 to 1996. He witnessed the May 4 shootings as a faculty marshal and dedicated much of his career to researching, memorializing, and lecturing about the events of May 4, 1970.
In tribute to ¾ÅÓÎÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø student Bill Arthrell's infamous anti-war protest, the May 4th Task Force presents a teach-in on the importance of agitator/provocateur awareness and coalition building in student protest movements.

This two-and-a-half hour program covers the basics of indoor climbing including equipment, bouldering, top rope climbing, and belaying with an ATC and Gri-gri device.
