Engineering Minors
The College of Aeronautics and Engineering offers minors in a variety of engineering roles including computer engineering and technology, electronics, innovation, safety, and sustainability.

Computer Engineering Technology Minor
The Computer Engineering Technology minor provides the foundation for students to study the design of network systems, telecommunications systems, networking hardware and computer hardware engineering and architecture technologies. Students have the opportunity to conceptualize, develop and analyze requirements engineering specifications for practical systems.

Electronics Minor
The Electronic Technology minor gives students a basic knowledge in the use and programming of microprocessor-based circuits. It also illustrates how digital combinational and sequential circuits work, and provides students with some applications of these types of circuits. The minor complements studies in computer science, physics, instrumentation, as well as student interest in a general background on how computers work.

Innovation Minor
The Innovation minor is an interdisciplinary program that addresses the need to use innovation to solve many pressing problems in manufacturing, science, business and technology.

Safety, Quality and Lean in Manufacturing Minor
The Safety, Quality and Lean in Manufacturing minor is not accepting students at this time.

Sustainability Minor
The Sustainability minor provides students a basic knowledge of sustainability and allows them to address a specific area within sustainability. The minor consists of basic courses addressing the three main components of sustainability and an integrated series of advanced courses related to applications of this basic principle.
